| Family Counseling & Mediation offers Christ Centered Counseling to its clients. If you are a Believer in God, you may have that expectation that you should always have it all "together". After all God will provide if a believer is faithful, right? Well, God will provide but He will provide what we need as His child, which may not be what we want. God clearly instructs us to seek Godly Counsel. So you may be asking yourself, "How come I don't feel like I have it together", "What is wrong with me", or "Why am I so depressed?" These questions and others like them are all too common today. Proverbs 12:15 instructs us as Believers that it is "wise" to seek counsel which is Godly. God has led me on a path of personal healing through my own trails of life. Through His divine direction I have followed the path of obtaining my Ph.D. in Psychology and a second one in Christian Psychology. This allows me as a Christian to combine the learnings of psychology with the Word and Direction of God. He has created us in a very unique and individual way for His purpose. Family Counseling seeks to be an extension of God to help His family of Believers heal and find His direction for their life. Even as a Christian you may be suffering from anxiety, experiencing low self worth, or possibly experiencing the devastation of divorce? As a Christian how do we handle these "worldly" problems in a Godly way. The Bible speaks to all of these problems reminding us that God never promises any of His children a perfect harmonious life. The scriptures talk of seeking Godly counsel and that is what is offered at Family Counseling & Mediation. God has directed my path in life to where I am today. My walk with God, trails, tribulations and successes were part of His plan for my ministry today. If you have or desire to have a relationship with God, I will bring Christ and the Scriptures as a foundation into the counseling. Using Christ as a foundation to the counseling provides a solid foundation to which to build upon. Many Christians experiencing trails and or tribulations in life are left wondering why. One such |
